Anybody that comes in 10-15 minutes before closing will get stared down by the older lady with glasses. If you come in around closing, she makes a whole show out of locking the door, and will share a thought or two about people that either just came in or got locked out. It's ironic that the whole locking the door and opening it back up for every single customer makes everyone stay even longer.
The staff at this post office was wonderful! Cat and MaryAnn clearly explained what I needed to do for proper mailing of my correspondence, and smiled the whole time! Not missing a beat, these multi-tasking experts continued helping several people at a time, and me, cheerfully and efficiently. Mailing a package to my niece next week and I know I can count on these fine people to help me make sure she gets it!
In my job, no matter what time it is, you treat everyone with respect and appreciate their business. It's called doing your job--even if you aren't the business owner, or don't get paid extra for having happy customers.
I take things in for my business several times a week. I always get good service, sometimes not overly friendly even though they "know" me. The wait is usually acceptable and they are always helpful. There is a man I get when Cat or Maryann are on vacation...he is FANTASTIC. I'd like to clone him...
Cat was OUTSTANDING! Very upbeat and friendly! Was greeted with a huge smile and was literally in and out of there within 5 minutes!!!! Even when she was helping two other people out me being the third she was extremely fast with helping me and was such a delight! If you need a package go to the post office on us1 and light house!!!!! Great service! Found my main post office now !!!! Thank you Cat!!!
